Structural Mechanical Specialist Contractor
$2 billion dollars in current projects

This organisation is the largest high profile specialist contractor with current works in excess of $2 billion in the mechanical, structural, electrical and minerals processing markets. They have experienced significant growth throughout Australia and within the construction industry in Central Queensland and are looking to secure long term staffing teams to service current and upcoming project requirements.

As an organisation they are involved in Coal Handling Marine Facilities, Plant Expansions and Heavy Industrial projects throughout Queensland and have a solid reputation for winning the industries most sought after projects.

Currently they have a requirement for a rigging and lifting specialist. You should have experience designing lift plant forms and designing and implementing rigging programs.

Within this role you will be responsible for

Designing and implementing lift procedures and forms
Training and socializing lift procedures to contractors
Rigging and crane inspections and audits

For this role you will require your advanced rigger ticket or tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering. You should also have a demonstrated ability to create work method statements for heavy lifts and provide training in rigging and heavy lift procedures within previous roles. We also require someone with experience preparing heavy lift studies for cranes in the erection of structural steel and installation of mechanical equipment and piping.
