Having been established for over 20 years this mid tier Construction Company is well established through South East Queensland.
With the resources to build projects within the $15-$20m price range they are known within the commercial, educational, government, retail and health sectors.
They have recently been awarded a several multimillion dollar projects to starting in Brisbane over the coming months and have an immediate need for a Safety Officer/WHSO to join their well established construction team.
To be considered for this role you will need to have had at least 3-5 years experience in a similar role within the commercial or industrial construction industry.
You will be predominately site based roving between various sites and at times focused more on the larger projects. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Training and influencing staff on a positive safety environment
- Liaise with all staff in regards to updates on policies, procedures and standards
Ideally you will have a certificate IV in OHS or equivalent, outstanding knowledge of OHS safety procedures and fantastic written and verbal communication skills.
You will be offered a salary package circa $100-$110k package
