With a proud history of over 50 years, our client is the leading provider of technical services to the transport industry. They have since expanded their consulting services to include all areas of transport including road and pavement design, road safety and traffic management, asset management and bridge technology.

Senior roles within this company are well sought after and our client currently seeks the services of a Senior Asset Management Engineer for the QLD branch. In this role you will utilise your strong technical skills and project management experience to contribute to the delivery of several significant projects. Your experience in providing asset management services including road, pavement and bridge infrastructure will see you utilising your established contacts within State and Local Governments to provide quality technical advice.

This role will require the ability to effectively communicate technical issues, project management experience from a consulting perspective, and a desire to develop both existing relationships and search for more.

The ideal candidate will have:

The relevant Civil Engineering degree with at least 7 years consulting experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team
Exposure to Asset Management will be highly regarded.
You will have strong project management skills, client negotiation skills and well developed problem solving and technical skills.
You will be either eligible for RPEQ and CPEng status or already qualified with an extensive knowledge of Australian design standards.
You will be a source of technical knowledge for the team and contribute to the overall objectives of the company.
Experience in pavement engineering and a working knowledge of GIS will see you well placed to fulfil this challenging role.
