Our client is a well established, multi-disciplined Engineering Company, renowned internationally for providing high profile projects. They are an Australia-based consulting, construction and contracting group who deliver projects in areas such as marine, transport, mining, civil infrastructure and urban development.

Roles within this organisation are well sort after, and our client now requires a Bridge Engineer based in their Brisbane office. You will responsible for managing the technical performance of a design team and ensure that project expectations are achieved. The client is seeking an Engineer to work on a contract basis on a major project.

You will need to have a Bachelor of Engineering, with a minimum of ten years experience in Australian Bridge design and documentation of bridge projects. It is essential that you are RPEQ qualified and have excellent knowledge of Australian standards and previous project management experience.

The successful applicant will have:

Project management experience and proven skill in project management
Previous experience in a management role of large scale infrastructure projects and a minimum of 15 years experience in the field of bridge design and documentation
Proven experience in concept development, and design / documentation of bridge projects as well as Australian experience in vehicular and railway bridges and a thorough understanding of relevant Australian standards including Local and State Government polices, standards and guidelines
Experience in concrete and steel bridge documentation
Effective management of the client / consultant relationship
Previous employment in large EPCM companies or consultants
Completion of bridge feasibility studies
Comprehensive experience in structural analysis and design, as well as model development, bridge inspections, and proof engineering
