With a brand recognised throughout the world, this industry leading Oil and Gas contractor is set to grow it’s QLD operations. This organization is respected for their ability to provide full life cycle solutions to complex projects in the rapidly expanding oil and gas industry, and with an impressive list of projects set to begin in early 2009 a unique opportunity exists for a Senior Estimator to join it’s Brisbane based team.
This key role will be reporting directly to the estimating manager and be responsible for ensuring that projects are researched, planned, estimated, prepared and tendered in an efficient manner. You will also work closely alongside both the Bid manager to identify risk and develop strategies to manage these risks effectively, and the Construction Managers in preparing construction schedules and plant requirements. It is essential that you have the ability to prioritize tasks and are able to work to strict deadlines.
A strong background in oil and gas with experience in estimating on major resource projects ($200M+) will put you ahead of the rest. Large scale estimating experience in building, infrastructure, or civil projects will also be considered.
