This company is known globally with operations in every state nationally. They have continued to be one of the strongest players within the facilities management and property sectors and they are currently seeking a senior candidate to manage facilities management and operations service delivery for the portfolio of a highly prestigious client.

You will be responsible for:

Providing superb leadership and management to the Facilities Management team
Ensuring requirements for new contracts are undertaken effectively and within budget
Regularly monitor contracts to ensure they are being delivered professionally
Undertake contract visits/audits
Overall maintaining a profitable operation and support the effective implementation of FM business systems and provide regular feedback and advice on continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and experience required:

Solid background and understanding of current technical issues and operational in relation to FM
Extensive experience in facilities management, property or construction
Sound financial and budgeting experience
Superb leadership and management skills, ability to motivate, lead, develop and manage relationships with all staff in a construction and facilities environment
Experience delivering 'hands on' operation training to a contract team
Experience managing and dealing with developer / builder and defects management
Management of a portfolio of retail, banking/financial and commercial assets as well as a publicly listed trust client (desirable not essential)
Experience in a similar role at senior level - Regional or National
