A top listed International group is seeking a ambitious Facilities/Operations manager to join their dynamic team for a large shopping centre. This company is well respected in the market and extremely successful in this field.

Reporting to a state director and being very much a part of a new and well equipped team you will be responsible for all practical and physical aspects of a centre in the western suburbs of Brisbane. Your team objective is focused clearly on maximisation of asset values and returns and on achieving further potential. As this is a senior level role your contribution to this will be broad ranging from service contracts, OH&S, adhering to all centre engineering and maintenance enquiries , statutory compliance through capital works and fit-out, budget planning and other issues relating to safe and cost effective asset performance.

This is a rare and extremely exciting opportunity for a retail Facilities / Operations manager with drive, initiative and enthusiasm to take on a role which is important to a major asset, team and group. The role requires a hands on, practical, approach - combined with superb relationship building skills and contract management ability with a successful prior record in all aspects of shopping centre operations. You will be a technical and degree qualified engineer probably now with a smaller centre OR property group, or perhaps a specialist centre or facility management service provider. Attitude and career potential are important as is years of experience and stable work history.
