Senior Materials Handling Engineer

As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for the development of system from the conceptual stage through testing and development and finally involved in the commissioning of the equipment on site. This role will include some travel and site work to ensure delivery and operation of the equipment meets client specification and expectations. Projects will range in size from small to large and will involve the work from an array of engineering teams including Structural, Civil and Mechanical. 

As the successful candidate it would be beneficial to have experience in the handling of coal and some site experience is an advantage. The role will involve the designing of minerals handling systems to convey and process minerals from the bulk product stage through to the final ore free of tailings ready for processing. The role offers the individual the opportunity to develop their skills to include management and responsibility of a team of project engineers to estimate costs and adhere to budgets.
