Our client is a recognised leader in providing professional and technical services to a large number of markets. They are currently undertaking the engineering design for a $600million major mine expansion and are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on this project.

Reporting directly to the Lead Mechanical Engineer, your involvement will include engineering, preparing technical specification, scope of work, design calculation, layouts, equipment selection, equipment packages for materials handling - conveyors, mobile machines including stackers, reclaimers and shiploaders, crushing & screening equipment, concentrator for the project.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive Bulk Materials Handling engineering experience - metals and minerals eg. Copper/gold/uranium/iron ore/nickel/bauxite/coal experience;
Demonstrated experience at a senior engineering level within minerals handling and/or processing facilities;
Accurate preparation of technical documentation and tender evaluations;
Tertiary Qualified Engineer (Mechanical) with minimum of 8 years post graduate experience.
