This boutique design firm based in the Brisbane CBD offers minerals processing solutions to a broad spectrum of clients and operational environments here in Australia and internationally. This role is open to all mechanical engineers who have experience in the design of pumping systems to be used to handle slurries in the wet aspects of minerals processing industry for coal processing systems. Experience in Coal handling is desired but it not crucial to the role with candidates from other industries will be considered.

The successful candidate will have experience in the design, application and specification of pumps specifically for use with slurries. This role requires the candidate to be degree qualified and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) accredited or will have the experience to qualify for this title. Working in a team environment you will be required to check and approve designs to ensure they meet company and industry regulations. Along with this role comes the opportunity to mentor junior engineers in the design process and specifications.

The nature of this design office would suit a flexible individual who is willing to work in a cooperative team environment. To succeed in this role you will be required to manage multiple designs occurring concurrently. This opportunity allows the engineer to follow the design from concept stages through to manufacture and installation of the components.
