Two civil contractors have joined forces to deliver an 8km motorway upgrade on the western side of Brisbane. The state and federal governments have pumped funds into this section which is valued at more than $1.4B and will take 3 years to complete. As Senior Project Engineer you will be employed by the smaller of the two companies who has successfully operated in the industry for over 20 years developing first class staff, award winning training systems, benefits and incentive programs.

The project is a mix of green and brownfield sites and includes: Roadworks, bridges – associated structures, lane widening, off / on ramp extensions, drainage and stormwater all to Main Roads specifications.

While reporting to the Area Manager you will have exposure to:

• Day to day planning

• Management of staff

• Quality assurance

• Ability to prepare contractual claims

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering are required combined with a high level of enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and a strong personal commitment to excellence.
