This global organisation provides design and construct rail signalling solutions within alliance and joint partnerships for large scale rail projects in suburban and regional locations throughout Queensland.

The company has a solid belief in promoting from within and is a member of the project management office. They offer project management mentoring and significant scope for growth as new alliances are formed and workshops to be set up both locally and overseas.

Their new workshop in North Brisbane is made up of a friendly team of 40 employees who work standard hours of 7:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday. Within this role they are responsible for constructing the control boxes and switchboard signaling equipment to be located on their projects throughout Queensland. Approximately 4 times per year team members report to projects and are paid in addition to their salary for commissioning their projects.

Currently they have a requirement for a Workshop Supervisor.

Within this role you will be responsible for resource allocation and leading the factory staff and graduate engineers to ensure productivity in the workshop. You should be driven and have the ability to forward plan and minimize workshop downtime.

The ideal applicant would be an electrical supervisor with prior experience in a switchboard manufacturing environment as a supervisor with a goal to become a workshop supervisor. You should also have the ability to read schematic diagrams and improve productivity in a fast paced workshop environment.
