This privately owned and operated engineering firm has continued to grow since starting out as a fabrication company in the 90’s.Employing over 60 people, with offices throughout Queensland, they have been involved of late in some iconic projects such as the Hale Street Bridge, and Virgin Blue hangars, as well as various other bridges, shopping centre redevelopments and high rise buildings.

As Workshop Manager your role will be to manage the day to day running of the workshop while working closely with the management ensuring that projects receive: materials, machinery and labour according to the schedules to ensure completion.

While reporting the Operations Manager your role will include:

• Supervising Welders & Mechanics

• Managing logistics and transport

• Programming of works

• Controlling stocks and spare parts

• Manage OH&S and environmental

This role has endless potential, with the workshop operating at a steady pace there is room for and experienced Workshop Manager to expand operations building the team and increasing the amount of materials that can be supplied to projects.
