$130,000 + Super + 35% uplift Remote WA project 26 / 9 Roster FIFO from some states This National civil contractor will deliver the: earthworks, services associated with this mining infrastructure upgrade valued at over $300 million dollars. Construction will soon be starting onsite and will run for at least 15 months. With more stages to be released this is a long term position. We are looking for a Contract Administrator with an Engineering background to support the Commercial team, developing and managing contracts within the project requirements: prepare, negotiate and review various contracts with a focus toward reducing cost, increasing profits and ensuring risks are mitigated. This will be a challenging role that will demand previous experience in contractual disputes, negotiation solutions with demanding clients in civil engineering.While working closely with the Commercial Manager your role will include:Obtaining subcontract and supplier quotations for the compilation of bid analysis documentation whilst ensuring/justifying the proposed expenditure of budget.Assists the commercial team in the drafting of contractual documentation for the engagement of third parties.Assists the commercial and engineering team in the timely completion of end of month reporting.Assists the Project controls team with assessments of potential delay and disruption events.Works with Accounts Payable in setting up the project financial system.Assists the Commercial Manager with site activities and quantity valuations.Administers variations to programs, projects and services including associated cost effects.Oversees all aspects of project work including contracts, programs, services provided, persons affected and resolving associated issues which may arise.Collects and analyses data associated with projects undertaken and reporting on project and cost outcomes.Negotiating contract terms with internal and external parties.This is a highly rewarding role that will ensure long term employment. You will require similar experience in Contract Administrating in civil construction preferably mining infrastructure, large main roads, water infrastructure or similar fields Australia - WA Port Hedland & Pilbara
