Our client is one of Australia’s leading construction company’s specialising within the resource industry. They are currently delivering projects across Australia in water, renewables and oil & gas.  This National Civil Contractor are seeking a Safety Advisor to join the project safety team across a $200M pipeline project in WA working closely with the client to ensure their specifications are followed by site staff and subcontractors. With site inductions, training and auditing will be part of your everyday responsibilities, you will implement the OH&S system ensuring that safety standards are kept to an ultimate high. Construction will soon be starting onsite and will run for at least 12 months.You will report to the Senior Safety Lead, working closely with Supervisors, Engineers & Work Crew to ensure the safe delivery of earthworks and services associated on this mining infrastructure upgrade are followed. To be successful you must  have previous experience in a similar role across a heavy construction, mining or engineering is a must; beneficial to have pipeline experience. Minimum of 3 - 5 years in safety and can motivate and actively promote a safe working culture. Minimum of Cert IV Work, Health & Safety, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 – preferable to have updated TAE40116, Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety beneficial, not essential. This is a highly rewarding role that will compensate well with one of the heavy hitting tier one contractors continuing to grow with a strong pipeline of work.
